I really don’t have any regrets. Everything that has happened to me, its happened for a reason. I believe that whole heartedly. The one thing I think I would do over is loosing my virginity at 16. I wasn’t in love with the guy, he was just there. I was a rebellious teenager who had been told her entire life, don’t do this, don’t do that. I got tried of it. I partied it up and the guy I’d had a crush on. I didn’t want a relationship. I just wanted to loose the V-card. I looked at it all wrong. I was rumored in high school to be a slut when I’d only slept with a few people I cared about. Yes I cared about the guy I lost my virginity too, but I wasn’t in love. And that’s what I regret. I regret giving in myself to someone who I wasn’t in love with. Being a virgin at any age is a HUGE accomplishment today’s world. Its does not by any means make you undesirable. It makes you smart, and respectful enough of your body and of yourself to know what’s right for you. Congrats. My do over? I wish I had known myself a little better instead of using it as a tool to rebel against the Mormon church. Having the self esteem problems that I do, its taken a very long time for me to learn self respect and that I know now. I think becoming a witch and practicing the way I do. I literally become the Goddess incarnate, I do the work, but she allows it so. I felt very underpowered with the Christian faiths. At least the Mormon faith. A woman can’t hold the priesthood, therefor can’t heal.. etc etc etc. In a way doing what I did the way I did it was me taking back my power, but I did it wrong. I should have taken back my power in a way that said more ‘I know myself well enough to know when I’m ready. Sure I’m ready now, but its my choice to either loose it now or keep it around.’ Does that make sense? I don’t regret the act itself. I I do however wish that I’d learned of myself a lot better.
