news and informations automotive, business, crime, health, life, politics, science, technology, travelautomotive, business, crime, health, life, politics, science, technology, travel This weekend has been filled with less that spectacular events. For the most part I am over the I-wanna-die-right-now syndrome that goes long with colds, flu, and just about everything else, thanks to my having caught mono as a teenager. Thankfully I have doctor’s that really care, and I can call to ask about what to take best with my health issues. ^_^
With that being said, last night, Sunday, was the day that I was supposed to go out on a date. He’s sick, I’m getting better, but yesterday I woke up with a migraine that would not quit. 3 aspirin taken three times yesterday did not help the pain. I ended up closing my eyes, in the dark and blissful silence with frozen green beans on my forehead because I was out of ice. (Don’t knock it, it works!) After switching it when it got too cold to bare from forehead, to the back of my neck several times, my step mother texted me and said they’d be here soon.
At 8:15 PM I went in for my CPAP machine test, and got all hooked up to wires, and they had to use that goop stuff to make it stick. Hence the name of my blog entry. I promise you that goop has not yet come out, and after washing my hair three times in the sink, I may end up taking a nice long hot shower, after my work out. So I’ve been up since 6 AM and the time difference is just weird. I think its already 3 or 4 in the afternoon, and I even dozed off during an episode of HOUSE M.D. I’ve already seen.
Now for those of you who don’t know a CPAP machine stands for Continuous Positive Air Pressure. Its used for sleep apnea patients to force the muscles the relax and not let air flow freely in and out of your lungs to stay open and let you sleep, cuts out snoring and apparently helps you NOT wake up with screaming head pain. WIN!
So for today, I am going to continue to work on homework and watch House. I also have to keep and eye on the dog, while her energy level hasn’t changed she keeps getting this pimple like things on her scar from the spay. The incision is jagged and not all that pretty to look at, and well, I’m worried that the vet might have missed some thing when doing the follow up. So I am going to keep an eye on that. Other than that, its just another Monday.
P.S. Caffeine headaches SUCK.
news and informations automotive, business, crime, health, life, politics, science, technology, travelautomotive, business, crime, health, life, politics, science, technology, travel So Friday, after signing the lease, filling out the paper work, reading an encyclopedia of material, rules, and a apartment building newsletter, I hauled my first load into my new apartment. That was the first of 5 loads. I downsized a lot. Now the only thing I need is book shelves, hangers, and I will start to be organized. For now, I am doing my nails, because I need to do some serious maintenance on them. I cut them all off before the move, and they were literally the longest I’ve ever had them. Now I am getting back into writing seriously with school and will be online as of tomorrow, *sqee* instead of this wireless signal hopping. I am excited to be able to get on….
Yesterday I went and got my dog. So Tiny is home and recovering nicely. She’s sleeping right now, but she’s up and active after getting spayed. Next month I am making the appointment for getting her microchipped.
Which is nice because it comes with the added bonus of life long license for her, and I say added because my primary concern is loosing her.
So today is filled with going through yet more boxes to find my camera charger, (old Sony not the new Nikon) and catching up on some shows. I did manage to watch America’s Next Top Model last night and CSI. It made me happy that I can watch ANTM at 9 and CSI at 10… but it annoys me because CSI for YEARS was on Thursdays at 9 am. Are parents all of a sudden bitching about the graphic material? Most children I know are in bed by 9… but whatever, its on and I like the cast changes so far, so no more complaints from me.
I have this insane Britney song stuck in my head and its sad because I don’t listen to Britney all that often… *le sigh*
news and informations automotive, business, crime, health, life, politics, science, technology, travelautomotive, business, crime, health, life, politics, science, technology, travel Well folks, for those of you that are paying attention, Pennsylvania has suddenly turned into Florida with bipolar weather, and rain every time you sneeze. So yes in the areas that are already devastated by flood, its pouring. YAY! *sarcasm* So what am I going to do this rainy day? CLEAN. My kitchen is very much a disaster and I truly need to buckle down and clean it. After that I am going to try to neaten up the bathroom, the living room, vacuum etc. I’m hoping that my payment comes in for the paid blog posts that I’ve done, because I REALLY could use that money.
I had my interview with the low income housing and now comes the waiting game. So I am putting my time to good use at least. Last night I has such a bad back ache that I took some pain relief medicine and just went to bed. Today I’m eating a banana for breakfast to see if that will help. It was just so weird, it started yesterday while I was at Chinese with my Mother and it started in my left side and just spread.
My poor dog isn’t going to like me after a while, I am going to have to take her out and its raining. I know she’s not going to want to go, but damnit, I’m out of puppy pads and I haven’t been able to order the reusable ones yet. I’m also trying really hard to get rid of all the fruit flies, flies etc that came in when the door was wide open. I can’t believe that door made me feel so insecure! Ok I can it had a screen duct tabled to a door and that was it. Now thankfully there is a board over the hole. MMMM I forgot how good coffee could taste first thing in the morning…
